Chen's choreography Red Dress was commissioned by the Gretna Music Festival in PA to be accompanied by two internationally renown pianists playing live Stravinsky's Le Sacre du Printemps for Piano, Four Hands. Taiwanese songs in May, 2011; and 2) full evening-length dance concertto be produced in Taiwan in summer 2012.

Chen watercolor painting "Winter Sonoma" will be exhibited on the Banner (Artscape project) in the Winchester old town walking mall for the remaining year.. The grand celebration of Artsscape banner project will be on April 15 & 16 during The Bloom’s Wine Fest. The original painting will be on display in The Bright Gallery on the walking mall.
